A bit more complicated

The next element I tried was a "portal".  The Infinite Crypt kickstarter has these, but we did not order any, and my kids thought they were cool.

I use SketchUp to design the elements.

And here they are in real life:

Now all I need is a miniature portal gun, and some laser turrets and I can pretend our miniatures are being tortured by a maniacal computer.
